Shape of Water a castigat trofeul pentru cel mai bun film la cea de-a 90-a editie a Premiilor Oscar, desfasurata in noaptea de 4 spre 5 martie, la Dolby Theatre din Los Angeles. Dupa ce anul trecut, au primit plicul de la alta categorie si, in consecinta, au anuntat gresit cel mai important premiu al serii, Faye Dunaway si Warren Beatty au urcat din nou pe scena. De data aceasta, nu a mai avut loc nicio confuzie.
